Orion的由來

為什麼我們的醫院要叫Orion呢？

Orion的中文是獵戶座，而獵戶座是秋冬季天空最大最亮的星座，就在頭頂正上方，只要抬頭望向夜空就可以看到。

在過去行醫的十幾年中，Dr. Grace很常因為緊急狀況overtime加班手術，等到動物情況穩定，走出醫院門口回家時常常已經11、12點，每次都覺得超級虛脫，在回家的路上才終於可以放鬆一點。入夜後的街道很安靜沒什麼人，但當她一抬頭總是可以看到獵戶座在天上，那個瞬間讓她感到無比安心，好像正安慰著說道：「你做得很好，你已經盡力了」

所以我們將醫院命名為Orion，紀念為了生命奮鬥的每一個夜晚，也提醒自己莫忘初衷，成為獸醫就是為了要守護這些毛茸茸的孩子。

The origin of Orion Vet

Why is our hospital named Orion?

Because Orion is the largest and brightest constellation in the autumn and winter skies. It is located right above our heads, which can be visible easily when we look up at starry night.

During past 10+ years, Dr. Grace often find herself working overtime on emergency surgeries and she walks out of the hospital around 11pm or 12am to head home by the time the animals are stable. She feels extremely exhausted each time, and she can finally relax a bit on the way home. The streets are quiet at night and there are few people around, but she can always see Orion in the sky whenever she looks up. In that moment, she feel an immense sense of reassurance by saying, "You did well! You’ve done your best."

This is the reason why she wanted to name it Orion. It is to commemorate every night that she spent in fighting for life, and to remind herself never to forget her original intention, which to become a veterinarian to protect these furry little ones.
